Minutes From Now Calculator
Enter a number of minutes to find what time it will be, calculated from right now.
How this is worked out
Type a number of minutes and the calculator adds it to the time on your device right now. If it is 2:05 PM and you ask for 30 minutes from now, the answer is 2:35 PM. Push past the top of the hour or past midnight and both the hour and the date update to match.
A printed answer like "30 minutes from now is 2:35 PM" is only true for the exact moment this page happened to load. The calculator reads your device clock the instant you use it, so the answer is always right for right now.
Minutes versus hours
Sixty minutes is one hour, so 90 minutes from now is the same as 1 hour and 30 minutes from now. Past 60, it is usually clearer to think in hours and leftover minutes rather than a large minute count, which is why the Hours From Now Calculator exists for anything measured in whole hours or more.
Common uses
- Cooking timers: working out the clock time something will be ready, rather than watching a countdown.
- Meeting and call buffers: checking what time a "starting in 15 minutes" message actually means.
- Public transport and rideshare estimates: converting an app's "arriving in 20 minutes" into an actual time to be ready.
- Short breaks and pomodoro-style work sessions: finding the clock time a 25 or 45 minute block will end.
